Lets face it, if you're in the website industry and build out websites you have probably had to look around for web templates. Even if you are a designer yourself, sometimes it's easier to develop a site quickly and focus less on the design aspect by simply purchasing a cheap web template. There are many websites that sell quality website templates and there are also many that sell poor templates.
Buying templates can be a big risk. For example, if you are going to put $45 into your template and your site doesn't gain any traffic or revenue, you're out $45 plus hosting and domain expenses.

An even better way to build your websites and monetize them is to buy a website template membership. You can access thousands of templates, usually for under $60 for unlimited use. This makes it so easy to build out websites and not worry about spending money on designs that, really won't matter if you don't gain traffic in the first place! Website templates sold in packages are much more convenient and a lot of them offer free resale rights so you can resell them on eBay or even on your own website.

With so many opportunities on the web, I've found out that reselling website templates is a lot easier than you think. Basically you can purchase a website template package, create a members area, and sell them through a simple PayPal button! If you target a specific niche that gains good traffic without much work to your site, you may be able to set yourself up a nice little side business.
The bottom line is that website template packages can be much better than buying individual website templates for a variety of reasons. I like to build a site on a template from one of my packages and let it run for a while. If it's gaining revenue and traffic, that's when I'll consider spending more money on an individual template or a custom design.
